Emeline Tate

Emeline Tate Joins La Maison de Beaumont Artist Residency in France

We are thrilled to share that our artist, Emeline Tate, has been invited to participate in a one-month artist residency at La Maison de Beaumont in the south of France. Throughout June, Emeline will be creating new work alongside a diverse group of international artists in a setting that fosters creativity, reflection, and collaboration.

This residency offers Emeline not only the space to heal and explore new artistic directions, but also a meaningful opportunity to spend time with her daughters. Her daughter Maddy, who will be studying photography next year, has joined her with a camera in hand—ready to document their creative journey.

During her time at La Maison de Beaumont, Emeline plans to work on her book, experiment with freer artistic expression, and begin translating her original artworks into playful digital patterns for her Threadless art shop—an online platform she’s excited to return to after a personal break.

We look forward to seeing the inspiring work Emeline creates during this special time and can’t wait to follow her adventures in France!❤️

Mary Lai

‘Portal to Dreams’ curated by Mary Lai, featured her works alongside Richard Ankrom and Yoon Chang.

The activation was inspired by the Japanese tradition of Omikuji, visitors were invited to write down their dreams, tying them to the installation’s fence. In this act of intention, we affirm the belief that when a dream is written, it is destined to come true.
